Samuel Leman

Samuel I am an Assistant Professor of Neurobiology, specializing in neuroanatomy and behavioral neuroscience. After a post-doctorate in Sydney, I joined the iBraiN unit led by Catherine Belzung to work on the central control of autonomic functions in mouse models of psychiatric disorders. I head the Neuroscience Department of the Faculty of Science and Technologies. I teach behavioral neuroscience to bachelor's and master's students in biology and psychology. I also coordinate the Cognition, Neuroscience and Psychology curriculum in the Biology and Health master's program at the University of Tours. Within the Unesco Chair, I would coordinate training in neuroscience to help better understanding the neurobiological changes induced by child abuse.
