Ma Liza Miscala Jorda

I am a City Prosecutor of the Department of Justice, Tacloban City, Philippines and a member of the City Inter Agency Council against Child Trafficking, Child Pornography and Online Sexual Exploitation. Previous to my new position as City Prosecutor, I was an Assistant City Prosecutor in Cebu City and designated prosecutor on cases involving human trafficking, child abuse and online sexual exploitation. I was also a member – prosecutor of the Inter Agency Council Against Trafficking in Region 7, Philippines. I have been to this kind of exposure since 2005 up to the present. In December 2021, I was invited by Cardinal O'Malley, President of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors as Speaker and guest of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors (Rome) in a conference on " The Rights of Alleged Victims in Canonical Procedures”. I submitted a paper for this conference entitled, “Rights of Alleged Victims in Penal Procedures in the Philippines”.
