I am a Professor of private law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Antananarivo (Madagascar), a member of the Malagasy Academy of Arts, Letters, and Sciences and General Secretary of the Henri Capitant Association (Madagascar chapter). I have also contributed to the Commission for the Reform of Children's Rights (CRDE) since its inception, representing law faculty. In addition, I served as the local representative for Madagascar for the Observatory on Children's Rights in the Indian Ocean (ODEROI). For several years, I have taught law and child protection at the University of Antananarivo and the National Police Academy, focusing on the gap between legal texts and reality in a context characterized by limited access to justice and the ineffectiveness of legal rules. I would like to focus my research on two related areas : abuses linked to child adoption, and work on the theme of abuses related to child adoption and the mistreatment experienced by children who have been abandoned or judicially declared abandoned.
